It was one of those special days in London when the sun was out and the air was crisp. When it comes to shooting outside in London, this was as good as it gets. I hadn’t seen the eternally poised and beautiful Laila for a few months so the excitement for the afternoon was almost unbearable. We decided to meet at one of London’s icons, St Paul’s Cathedral to admire Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece. Standing as a guardian of the city since its erection in the 17th century, the cathedral holds a very special meaning to Londoners and Brits in general. For me, the London skyline would not be the same without the famous cathedral dome illuminating it with such classical elegance. As we walked around the churchyard, we came across the rather quieter North facing gate and decided to station ourselves there. The ashlar masonry and paired columns simply took our breath away. What a magical way to spend the afternoon falling in love with London all over again.
