London is a city that really suits graffiti. Since the likes of Banksy sensationally brought graffiti into the mass market, common perception has morphed into a symbol of urban cool and a creative platform embodying the doctrine of freedom of speech. Graffiti is a powerful art form for the masses with the ability to enter people’s consciousness beyond the four walls of a museum. Walking around the city and finding new layers being added on top of old layers is one of my favourite pastimes. The rawness of graffiti always reminds me of the organic nature of London.
