British Summer makes concentrating on anything other than basking in the sun utterly impossible. Whilst summer in Japan means battling walls of heat of up to 40°, living in London seems to have lowered my tolerance to heat. Although the last few weeks in London has been an absolute bliss and sun bathing has been high on the agenda, I found myself soothing my skin in pockets of shades all the time. This arch of trees in particular was the perfect sanctuary from the blazing sun. There was also something very zen about hearing the leaves bustle in the light breeze and spotting little flickers of light making its way through the thick green from above.
