We all have days of lounging around with nothing much to do. And the only thing you really want is a cup of freshly brewed coffee. The dilemma begins, do I make the effort to look presentable to the barista or go for comfort. I definitely chose comfort on days like these and it’s still completely possible to achieve a level of presentability. My test when comfort is the main ingredient is how the garment feels on. I tend to avoid items which have been constructed to have a definitive silhouette and pick out cotton and free moving silk pieces. Movability and a sense of freedom is the main deciding factors.
LNA is a great brand for finding clothes I want to live in. With a very Californian vibe, LNA offers the perfect off duty pieces which I don’t want to take off once on. Their Elise dress is a great example of such an item. With double layered jersey, the dress feels incredible and is so easy breezy for walking around the city in for the essential coffee pick up. Just to spruce up the look and shield myself from the cool breeze, I decided to team the dress with Gestuz’s Nora shirt featuring an awesomely cool print (on a side note, I’m totally eyeing their matching shorts!). I am obsessed with this shirt for its print and sheer lightness and I can’t deny feeling invincible as well when the shirt billows like a cape for me to have my superwoman moment.
