Wool and the Gang
Growing up, there were many skills that my mama tried to teach me – piano, tea ceremony, origami, ikebana, haiku, pottery. The list is endless. I took up some of these with great passion and are to this day, some of my favourite past times. Knitting, however, was one which did not really fit with my impatient personality and I am eternally grateful to my mama for tirelessly teaching me (and failing) to knit a scarf. I suppose the one good thing that came out of my mama’s patience is that I absolutely love wearing knitted sweaters and appreciate the effort that goes into creating a knitted piece. This is why I was over the moon when I found out about Wool and the Gang. For all those unskilled knitting wannabes (like me), the Gang can hand knit your favourite knits or provide ‘knit your own’ kits for anyone feeling up for a challenge. My Sonic Sweater was one which the super talented Gang knitted for me (can we please give this a second more to appreciate!) and I was simply floor with the results. I am absolutely in love with this ultimate chunky sweater which is perfect for spring’s chilly breeze and the Peruvian Crazy Sexy Wool gives it the perfect amount of comfort for any day’s event.
