Just before sun down, as the skies started to change from florescent orange into hollow greys, we found a split second opportunity when darkness subsided and the last remaining sunlight creeped back in. It was the opportune moment to capture the day’s events of exploring the grassy terrain and the rich natural habitat of Hampstead Heath. Situated only six kilometres away from Trafalgar Square, it’s a haven of biodiversity and beautiful countryside which is a perfect escape from the bustling metropolis. In a rose printed playsuit (my clever choice for walking in this rich terrain) and orchids dangling down my hair, the Heath seemed to welcome us back to nature, just enough to recharge our spirits for our journey back to the city.
