The midway period between winter and spring is always a tricky time for playing dress up. My daily ritual starts with looking outside my window and gauging the look of the day ahead. As a Londoner, I think I’ve gotten pretty skilled in the art of calculating just how many layers I need for the amount of time I will spend in the elements. My internal monologue goes something like this: window spying, check; balcony goose bump monitoring, check; iPhone hourly weather report, check; handbag to storage space for layers, check. The more promising the results, the more likely I am to ditching my coat (no offence to my winter coats, but I can’t deny the boredom I’m starting to feel from the repeated wears).
So I take my chances whenever I can and opt for the least wintery, most springy attire I can realistically manage. On a day like today, it’s not too difficult to pull this off. But having something like the Les100Ciels cardigan sure makes dressing for the midway period so much easier. From the moment I had my hands on this cardi, I have to say I was hooked. Made 100% from cashmere, the simplistic knit feels so luxurious. The lightness and creamy feel of the cashmere makes any relaxed look feel special. It’s one of those pieces that I know I can trust and rely on to keep me feeling chirpy throughout the ups and downs of a typical midway day.
