There are occasions in life when I’m reminded of how lucky I am to be a Londoner. As the horticultural world’s greatest and most prestigious event of the year, the Chelsea Flower Show is one week which cannot be missed. Celebrating its centennial, the Chelsea Flower Show transformed the grounds of the Chelsea Barracks into a splendour of nature packed to the brink with breathtaking gardens and inspirational designs. I’ve been attending for a couple of years now, but I can honestly say the excitement never wears off.
Roses, bonsai, clematis, lilies, rhododendron- from the colour of the petals to the shape of the flowers, there is no other way to describe them other than as perfection. There were so many exhibits which simply left me awe shocked, especially as the passion for gardening oozed out of every single designer proudly standing by their works of art. The Chelsea Flower Show was truly magical and an absolute treat for my eyes.
