It is that time of year again as excitement reaches fever pitch. With rucksacks packed full of bohemian items, whimsical head garlands in place and wellies firmly secured on feet, the journey to Glastonbury begins. The thump thump of the base starts to echo in our hearts as we slowly but surely reach the gates to summer paradise. We arrive with overwhelming anticipation as we are welcomed into a magical world where lights shimmer and music transforms into visual delights.
Festival season is in full force and deciding on the ultimate festival look has become a very important question. Bohemian, wild things, sports lux, flower power. There are so many types of festival looks to experiment with, but for me, comfort is my major consideration. Although making a statement and being comfortable at the same time might seem like an impossibility, Australian labels are style specialists in this area. It was a no brainer for me to look at Finders Keepers for my ‘it’ look for festivals. The unashamedly feminine and alluring Midnight top and Get Away shorts were the natural choice for a playful aesthetic. Both items feature Finders Keepers’ signature style of eye catching yet absolutely beautiful prints in my favourite blue tint. The combination seemed to convey confidence and expressed my personal style so well. Temperature adjustment is also a vital consideration as battling the elements (such as at Glastonbury) is a real risk. The Finders Keepers’ Once Again bomber is the ideal festival companion which looks great on and off wrapped around the waist. I also love the bomber’s American letter jacket style as it brings me back to my high school years. Lastly, a festival without a statement headpiece just doesn’t feel right. I knew this look needed something very special and that very special thing seemed like the Regal Rose Blue Raven feather headdress. Since the moment I saw this statement piece, I knew it was the one. Beautifully crafted with blue tinted feathers, this headdress compliments the Finders Keepers items so well. With my festival look ready, I’m ready to soak up the mystic energy and the incredible music.
